Your documents never leave your browser

The core promise of Indentio is simple: the XML and JSON you paste, type, or upload is processed entirely on your own device. It is never transmitted to us, never stored on a server, and never logged. Close the tab and it’s gone.

What we do and don’t collect

• Your content: not collected. All formatting and validation run locally in JavaScript.
• Accounts: there are none. We don’t ask you to sign up or sign in.
• Local storage: we store only your light/dark theme preference, in your browser.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

To keep the tool free, this site displays ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are shown:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visitingGoogle Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies atwww.aboutads.info.

Ad providers never receive the content you paste into the editor, because that content is never sent anywhere.

Cookies and consent

We use one small first-party cookie, mv-consent, to remember your choice from the cookie banner so we don’t ask again. Ad scripts are loaded only after you accept the banner; if you decline, no third-party ad cookies are set by us. You can also clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. The editor itself sets no tracking cookies, and your documents are never associated with any cookie.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (page views, country-level traffic) to understand which tools are useful. Analytics never include the content of your documents.

Data requests

Because we hold no accounts and no documents, there is normally nothing for us to export or delete. For anything related to ad personalization, use the Google opt-out links above, which control the data that ad vendors hold.
